Tuesday...
A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 6 am CST Tuesday.
* Timing... snow will increase in intensity this morning lasting
through this evening... with a gradual tapering overnight into
Tuesday morning.
* Main impact... daytime snowfall amounts of 3 to 5 inches. Storm
total snowfall amounts by Tuesday morning... since
Sunday... between 7 and 12 inches.
* Other impacts... gusty north winds will develop and possibly
result in areas of blowing and drifting snow with further
reduced visibilities.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means severe winter weather
conditions are expected or occurring. Significant amounts of
snow are forecast that will make travel dangerous. Only travel in
an emergency. If you must travel... keep an extra flashlight...
